New „Solidarnosc” organisation in Kaufland

The employees of Kaufland chainstore organised a trade union unit and handed the management petition with demands. There are hundreds of thousands customers in the Kaufland shops each day, however the wages in the network maintain very low and basic level. The employees asked the management of the chain for increase of wages, influence over the spending of the company’s social fund, improvement of safety and health conditions, stabile labour contracts and respect for the right to organise.
