Agreement in Solid Security

An agreement was signed between enterprise trade union of NSZZ “Solidarnosc” and Solid Security management. The company provides security service for the IKEA stores. The company agreed to provide the workers in need with social support, opportunity to contact their union leader during internal training for new employees and to transfer the deducted union dues properly. As the employer had not responded to calls for negotiations, the workers united in the Union decided to draw the attention of the company’s largest client – IKEA – to the problems of Solid Security workers. It took a few months of efforts to organise a meeting between the union and the management, which resulted in signing an agreement.
